Why Dennis?

Why I’m Running

Wauwatosa means a lot to me.  I was raised and educated here.  I owe much to my hometown.

I grew up in a large family and we didn’t have much.  But my parents believed in education and hard work, and instilled that in us.  Wauwatosa was good to us: we had great schools, beautiful neighborhoods and parks, and good neighbors.

My parents also taught us that we must give back, so I’ve dedicated my life to serving Wauwatosa and the broader community. I’m running for reelection as Mayor because this election is critical for Wauwatosa. My priorities are maintaining the City’s financial strength, preserving our beautiful neighborhoods and parks, continuing to invest in the City’s roads, sewers, and other infrastructure, and returning local control to Wisconsin’s cities and towns.

I’ve worked many years in both the private and public sectors, and I know how to make government work effectively for everyone.  I want to continue to serve the community that has given me so much.

That’s why I’m running for reelection. We’ve accomplished much over the last four years and we need strong leadership to keep moving forward.

Of course, I can’t do it alone.  Like Wauwatosa, I need the help of my neighbors and friends. Let’s all work together for a bright future.
